Tyre problems continue for Mercedes in Spain

After the euphoria of Qualifying yesterday, it was back down to earth for Mercedes with a difficult race day. With the cars still hard on their tyres Rosberg managed to bring the car home in 6th, while Hamilton was unable to get points finishing in 12th.

After a three week break Formula One is back, and it is the beginning of the European start of the season. Mercedes will be hoping that they are able to continue on an upward trend for the rest of the season. The team’s main focus has been on creating less wear on the rear tyres, and they will be hoping that the upgrades will have an effect on this.
